CFC Washout sums up the “summer” of 2021/22

Nearly 400 Veterans cricketers from QLD and NSW from the ages of 50 - 70 travelled to the Gold Coast only to attend the Meet & Greet and the dinner on the washed out first day. Sadly the Tournament had to be abandoned without any play possible. Our thanks to Rod Rice and his team or helpers who obtained wonderful ovals (sadly flooded) which we were unable to play on. Most of us made the drive back down south without incident, unlike the writer of this piece who visited Warwick (QLD) not once but twice before finally getting home.

Next year we are hoping that Coffs Harbour can host the event in late March early April 2023
